WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Cook Out Clash events on Saturday, Jan. 31, including NASCAR Cup Series practice, qualifying and heat races, have been postponed out of an abundance of caution due to expected winter weather.

The 48th edition of the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, which will kick off the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series on 1 February, has faced concerns that it could be cancelled after snowfall is expected to hit the area. While various reports have raised concerns, Wallace said the weather was "not a big deal".
