The Waters on Mayowood hosted their third annual "Freezin' for a Reason" polar plunge to kick off this year's fundraising for The Alzheimer's Association on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Rochester.

The 2026 Special Olympics Indiana Polar Plunge was held on Saturday outside of the Indiana State University Student Recreation Center. 130 plungers participated from various groups in the community.

The annual Polar Bear Plunge will take place in Seaside Heights on March 14 to raise funds for Special Olympics New Jersey. Last year's event raised $2.5 million with approximately 7,500 participants.
