don't think thats possible. once you install a directx update there is no going back, unless you have XP and can use a restore point or something.

I know there is no way to uninstall DirectX but is there a way to force it to reinstall over itself. Currupt a registry key or something. dxdiag says I am missing system.dll and I am having problems ...
