The police department of Almaty region has released details of the horrific road accident on the highway in which students from India were killed.
“On 8 January 2026, in the cities of Karaganda, Temirtau, Balkhash, Zhezkazgan, Aktobe, Almaty, and at night in Astana, unfavourable meteorological conditions are expected,” the statement says.
