Here is an animation of the Tropical Cyclone Strike Probability Chart starting on Wednesday and projecting 10 days ahead. You can see a weak system moving westwards north of the Top End midweek, intensifying and increasing in risk to become a tropical cyclone. As the video plays on, we then need to look at the risk of the system curving southwards towards the WA coastline.
