How to teach your dog to “back up”! This one is a lot of fun and very easy! A lot of people do ask me why I use a platform for this exercise! You can do it without one, however the platform gives your dog a focal point so it’s much easier to increase distance of the back up early on! The platform also gives the dog a reference so they maintain a straight back up cue! Without a platform your dog will tend to turn as they do it as there’s never been any reference for them to maintain a line! #dogt
