Thank you for sharing your experience @hulahoopinghannah! Engineering like this tells car drivers they are at the center of the universe. It makes it too easy to disregard signals and paint. There is no built environment accountability for drivers to yield and watch for anyone 👩🏿‍🦽👩🏽‍🦼🧑🏾‍🦯🚶‍♀️🚴🏾🚏 outside of cars. We need curb extention/roundabout and spacious/protected walk-roll-bike INFRASTRUCTURE to force traffic calming ( less car lanes). #PedestrianDignity #Longmont #PedestrianS
