the southern devil scorpion is 1 of 2 of alabamas native scorpions. scorpions often times when stinging prey will grab it first and feel for a joint to insert their stinger, with that being said thus sting didn’t even pierce my skin nor did it hurt. while i lost the fear of being stung by this species i did not lost respect for them in the process of gaining this knowledge. if skin is broken however it can be best compared to a bee sting according to the pain threshold guy. 🙃 * * * * #scorpion
