LANDSCAPE on Instagram: "4 layers of Ferrous / @evicshen loops and one live shifting harmonic overlay. This is an ancient Greek stringed instrument called a Psaltery normally played with a bow. Here it can be heard (via piezo pickup) being bowed magnetically with a spinning disc. The shifts in harmonics and fundamental pitches are from changes in RPM of the disc controlled by the thumbwheel on Ferrous. All sounds present were quickly recorded into the Octatrack."
