Emile Abou Samra (b. 1918, Marjayoun, Lebanon) was a Lebanese writer and journalism student whose work and correspondence reflect the experiences of early 20th-century Arab migrants. After completing studies in Lebanon and at the Egyptian College of Journalism, Abou Samra documented much of his life through letters, identification records, and personal notes. His materials in the AANM’s archives provide insight into educational mobility, multilingual communication, and the everyday documentation
