The 1996 Olympic Games brought unprecedented infrastructure projects to Atlanta. Georgia Tech renovated Alexander Memorial Coliseum and added seven new dorms, the North Avenue Apartments, the Campanile, and a new pool that became the Campus Recreation Center.
