Today at 12:30 March 24, 2024, the CSFD responded to a reported structure fire in the Banning Lewis Ranch area. Engine 21 arrived on scene to heavy fire and smoke coming from two duplexes. A 3rd alarm was called to bring in more resources. A compromised gas line was feeding this fire and early signs of collapse forced firefighters to take a defensive attack. Firefighters were able to control the fire about an hour after we arrived on scene. Luckily no people, firefighter, or pets were injured. T
