Israel has dropped a new type of bomb in Gaza. Palestinians claim it’s a “mini nuke,” but analysis suggests it is likely a thermobaric (vacuum) weapon. Thermobaric bombs detonate by dispersing a fuel–air mixture, producing a high-pressure shockwave and intense heat.
