In our neurodivergent household, the goal isn’t appearances, it’s regulation, safety, and trust 💙 Here are some of our family rules: 1. No one has to greet guests or say goodbye if they don’t want to 🚫 Connection doesn’t have to be performed on cue. For some kids, social transitions are overwhelming, and forcing them only creates stress instead of warmth. 2. We don’t make our kids share their belongings with guests. Anything we’re not happy to share gets put away in advance to avoid stress. Fo
