At approximately 10:10 a.m. on December 10th, 2025, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to an apartment fire in the 2900 block of Canyon Crest Drive in Riverside. Firefighters arrived to find a fire originating from the kitchen of an apartment unit. Crews conducted an aggressive fire attack along with a primary search and were able to keep the fire contained to the unit, preventing it from spreading to adjacent apartments.
