Nestled away in South Yorkshire lies a British wildlife gem; RSPB Old Moor. The landscape at RSPB Old Moor may be bustling full of life now, but it wasn’t always this way. A group of miners who were keen birders helped establish the reserve and used it as a place to come to during breaks between shifts in the local coal mines.
