What do you love the most about fall in Germany? 🍂❤️ Growing up in Germany, fall always came a bit sooner than fall in Kansas City, where we still have the random 19 degree (Celsius 😆) days even in November. However, none of this is keeping us from doing the things I love most about a German fall. Including our annual Saint Martin celebration and lantern walk that we do each year and baking Martinsbrezeln for it. Taking crisp fall walks. Drinking all the coffee and baking all the Flammkuchen.

We gave it a 4/10 🫣😄😭 but we also grew up with the “real ones” in Germany and it doesn’t quite compare. Instead it has its own unique benefits like being able to ‘escape into glass houses’ to warm up and shop. The Glühwein was the most expensive I’ve ever had 🤭 overall, I still think this market is better than no market. And there is a German sausage stand we didn’t get to try as we had to hurry to get to our comedy show. Would you come to this Christmas market in New York?? | dirndl kitchen
