Did you know a giraffe’s 🦒 diet is mostly made up of leaves, shoots, flowers, and seed pods, but occasionally they can be seen with their head in the dirt, eating soils. This interesting behaviour, known as geophagia, can serve multiple purposes. Scientists think that these soils could act as nutrient and mineral supplements for a giraffe's diet.
