The Seattle Fire Department says crews are responding to a natural gas fire in Queen Anne. KIRO 7 spoke to Seattle Fire Department (SFD) Public Information Officer David Cuerpo on the scene, who said that firefighters first responded to reports of a fire near Queen Anne Avenue and North West Highland Drive at around 9 a.m. Wednesday. At 10:23 a.m., Seattle Fire Department’s Fire Alarm Center received a call reporting a fire in a residential building. Crews arrived on scene to a kitchen fire contained to a unit in an apartment building. They got water on the fire putting it out within minutes. Crews searched the structure and checked for extension then began ventilation and demobilization. No injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. | Seattle Fire Department
